Privacy Policy
Data We Collect
Dagonet collects the following categories of data:
- Account information — email address, display name, and hashed password.
- Usage analytics — page views, button clicks, and feature-usage events collected via PostHog autocapture and custom events. No personally identifiable information (PII) such as your email is included in analytics events.
- Session replay — anonymised recordings of how you interact with the application. All text inputs are masked and sensitive elements (API keys, webhook URLs, error details) are blocked from recording.
- Project and test data — project configurations, test cases, run results, and screenshots you create within the platform.
Session Replay
When session replay is enabled and you have given consent:
- All text input values are masked (
maskAllInputs). - Email addresses displayed in the UI are masked (
.ph-mask). - Sensitive elements such as API keys, webhook URLs, and error messages are blocked
entirely from the recording (
.ph-block). - Recordings are stored in PostHog Cloud (US) and subject to PostHog's data retention policies.
Cookies
Dagonet uses the following cookies:
- Authentication cookies — secure, HTTP-only cookies for session management.
- CSRF token — protects against cross-site request forgery.
- Consent cookie (
dagonet_consent) — stores your analytics consent preference (accepted/declined). This cookie is readable by JavaScript to manage PostHog opt-in/opt-out state.
Data Residency
Analytics data and session recordings are processed by PostHog, hosted in the US.
Your Rights
- Opt out — you can decline analytics at any time via the consent banner. Declining prevents all analytics data collection and session recording.
- Data deletion — to request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details below.
